це таки слов'янщина. тут "ух" = "węch" (сучасне "запах"). писалося через великий юс - Ѫ, котрий позначав твердий носовий звук (зберігся в поляків) і котрий перейшов у сх. слов'ян у сучасне "у": рѫка — рука, бѫдѫ — буду.
